The KAmodGPS module enables easy application of GPS (Global Positioning System) techniques in their projects.

Basic properties:

  • Miniature GPS02 receiver from Hope
  • Possibility of supplying the module with 5 V or 3.3 V voltage
  • PWR LED indicating power supply
  • The 1PPS LED signaling the reception of the signal to determine the position
  • UART interface (TTL)
  • Possibility to connect the UART <> USB converter (eg ZL1USB_A or ZL4USB)
  • SMA connector for attaching a GPS antenna
  • Time to fix position (hot losses): 1 sec
  • Time to determine position (cold loss): 33 sec
  • Accuracy of positioning: 5 m CEP
  • Accuracy of the speed measurement: 0.1 m / s
  • CR2032 battery stand to support the GPS receiver
  • Protocols: NMEA-0183 V3.01 GPGGA, GPGLL, GPGSA, GPGSV, GPRMC, GPVTG
